About Us

Dr. Shayna Rondon brings a unique combination of clinical excellence, advanced training, and warm, personalized care to every patient she sees. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Rondon’s path into dentistry started in an unexpected place—through her passion for music and experience as a harp teacher. After connecting with a dental professional through a student’s family, she discovered a calling that blended hands-on artistry with a deep desire to improve people’s health.

Dr. Rondon earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Southern Adventist University in 2002 before attending Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Loma Linda VA Hospital in 2009, gaining essential experience in hospital and operating room settings that inform her thoughtful and skilled approach to care today.

In 2012, Dr. Rondon went on to complete a residency in periodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy and St. John Providence Hospital, serving as chief resident and earning a Master of Science degree. She is a proud Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds memberships in several respected organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, California Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

‍Outside the office, Dr. Rondon enjoys time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include playing the harp and piano, reading, practicing yoga, traveling, and giving back through mission service and outreach.

Dr. Elena Sanz Miralles is a Board-certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon with extensive training in Prosthodontics and Comprehensive Dentistry. She attended University of Barcelona, School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS), specialty training (MSc) in Comprehensive Dentistry (Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Implant Surgery), and PhD in Medicine and Translational Research.

She also received a Master in Science and Periodontal Specialty Certificate at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (New York, NY). She has practiced in the Washington DC area, New York, London, and Barcelona, and has held several academic positions over her 17-year career.

Along with her many educational achievements, Dr. Elena Sanz Miralles has also published research in leading peer-reviewed journals, focusing on the relationship between periodontitis and systemic health, and the use of lasers to treat peri-implantitis. She regularly presents lectures to general dentists and specialists.

Outside of the office, Dr. Elena Sanz Miralles has volunteered her time to Dentists without Borders in Honduras, providing surgical dental care and educational activities in remote areas of the country. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three daughters at home in the Bay Area.

Dr. Patty Ramos is a Hospital-Trained, Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist and Livermore Dentist whose compassion for her patients is her top priority. Educated at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Ramos has years of experience providing a safe, comfortable dental experience for patients from toddler age through adulthood.

She customizes a treatment plan for each patient, working alongside pediatric dentists, periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, and general practitioners to deliver positive and effective solutions to eliminate the fears associated with dental procedures. Dr. Ramos specializes in general anesthesia, pain management, oral sedation, and conscious sedation throughout the Bay Area and surrounding cities.
